New collection

It’s about time we kept you up to date with our established ‘what to wear’ Wednesday feature. Check out this sporty little number put together by Indira from Asos’ fashion finder feature.

Saloukee Loops necklace in Sapphire Blue as seen on Asos outfits and looks

We LOVE how she’s teamed this amazing Navajo Taupe Poncho from Paul & Joe Sister with those Acne Leather trousers in blue. Balenciaga rocked some amazing futuristic blues on their A/W 2012 catwalks and we’re super excited to have added our Sapphire Blue Loops necklace to our Jewels collection in keeping with this current trend!

Wow we’ve been busy! As the nights get shorter, the time tucked away in the Saloukee Studio seem to get longer somehow. But we’re always armed with a good cup of Earl Grey and a slice of cake (or two) to keep our bellies full and our hands warm, as the nights turn cold.

We’re banishing the winter blues as Autumn rolls in, by adding a splash more colour to our Strands collection, available exclusively on Boticca. We’ve release THREE jewel colours to our perky palette and we hope you’ll agree, they’re a  pretty pop that’s sure to freshen up your Autumn wardrobe. Take a look at our ravishing ruby red, our enviable emerald green and our sophisticated sapphire blue.  Our ‘jewel in the strands‘ colour range is available in our best selling Loops and Purls lines.

Even more exciting is that Boticca are running a FREE WORLDWIDE shipping, but only until midnight tonight, so get your mouse clicking your way to the shopping cart pronto!

With love and warm winter hugs, Saloukee x

With New York fashion week just weeks away we wanted to post an American inspired ‘what to wear’ Wednesday. Check out this cute outfit that fashions those Yank stars and stripes, quite elegantly. An easy going day outfit put together by Shamekab07 from Polyvore.

Team a striped jacket with a pair of your skinny jeans and pack a bunch of plasters so that you can last the day in those killer heels. Be forward thinking and rock those chalky pastels and it’s going to be all over the shops come Autumn/Winter 2013. Add statement to your outfit with one of our Loops Necklaces in pastel pink available from Boticca, sure to get you noticed.

Embrace your pretty pastels! With love, Saloukee x

Well it’s that time again, time for our weekly instalment of our ‘what to wear’ Wednesday blog feature. This week though we’re fully engulfed in the Olympics, we’re also dying for some guaranteed sun somewhere further afield … day dreaming of a city break, some culture and some stunning sightseeing. Paris, Barcelona, Milan, Miami, New York, Amsterdam … with some summer fashions to match.

With the help of Grace on the Polyvore community we’re thinking of jumping on the back of a Vespa for a fast track city tour of Milan, romantic sunset walks gazing at the architecture in Paris, cycling the windy canals in Amsterdam, reading a sizzling novel on the beach in Miami, taking polaroid snaps in a gallery or two in Barcelona and stopping for macaroons in a boutique cafe in New York.

So following on from last weeks What to wear at the 2012 Olympics post, we’re recommending teaming your neons and pastels. Our beautiful Purls Necklace from our Strands collection of this weeks star, as featured in Boticca’s fashion focused Holiday Style Guide. More exciting is the fact that for just one more day (ends midnight tonight) Boticca  are offering FREE DELIVERY with any purchase worldwide. Don’t miss your chance to make that holiday outfit unique, we only have two of these beauties in stock!

Have a great holiday, however exotic it may be! With love, Saloukee x

Eek it’s been a month already since we started out ‘what to wear’ Wednesday blog feature. We’re excited to be sharing this week’s selection by Tristi94 from Polyvore. A stylish pick just in time for the run up to the London Olympics. There’s a great atmosphere in England at the moment, especially in London …. not only because the sun has decided to make an appearance for the first time in months but also the Olympic opening ceremony is just a few days away!  The country has been preparing for years for 2012 and we’re sure as hell not going to get our outfit choice wrong for the occasion!

And why would we not go out without causing a glance or ten, a few dropped jaws and of course we want to ruffle a few feathers, otherwise what IS the point of fashion?

So we’re talking a combo neon yellow, neon pink, neon orange combined with pretty pastel shades of coral and baby blue, yes they work though perhaps not all together ALL AT ONCE!! Go on, try it, make the statement, be bold and rock that party/event, those drinks, make sure you’re not forgotten in a hurry. We LOVE our neon yellow loops necklaces teamed with this bag, a studded beaut from  Poupee Couture, also available from Boticca.

We’re sure the ceremony is going to be spectacular with lots of colour, lighting, special affects and WOW factor, so let your outfit do the same kind of talking ; )

Have a great Games! With love, Saloukee x

Our new collection has been really well received and we’d like to thank you for everyones support. As a designer it’s always a big leap of faith launching a new collection to the world, especially when it’s been just a big thought in your head and your hands for so long.

Not only have the neon and pastel neck pieces received some very stylish press from the likes of Elle Magazine online and The Sunday Times Style Magazine but we’ve also shipped orders to clients all around the world. We’re keeping our fingers crossed for the collections continuing success : )

A lot of work went on behind the scenes to enable us to launch the collection, lots of designing, making, trials and tribulations and the culmination of much of the hard work was a day shooting the pieces. It was a fun day made possible by the work of a full team of creatives and perhaps the odd cup of tea and slice of cake … or two ; )
